Winding Strait #27

public

This meandering passage of water bisects the land. Perhaps the pier behind you had originally been intended to fully bridge the strait but it falls way short, even though the strait is narrow, and the water is shallow.

The rising water is swirling with bright colours that resemble the feathers of a peacock and make you feel that you are being observed. It is tide-eyed.

Your curiosity about what lies on the other side outweighs your concern for what lurks beneath the surface.
